Conditions Treated

The below list includes a sample of the various types of pain treated. Obviously this list is not exhaustive.

Chronic Back Pain: Persistent pain in the lumbar or thoracic region often due to a combination of psychological stress, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, or muscle imbalances.
Chronic Neck Pain: Persistent neck pain, sometimes associated with cervical spine issues, caused by a combination of psychological stress, muscle tension, or poor posture.
Fibromyalgia: A condition characterized by widespread pain, fatigue, and tender points throughout the body.
Arthritis: Chronic joint pain caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Chronic Tendinopathies: Persistent pain in tendons such as Achilles tendinitis or rotator cuff tendinopathy due to repetitive strain or overuse.
Chronic Joint Pain: This can involve various joints, like the knees, hips, shoulders, or elbows, with common causes including arthritis or cartilage degeneration.
Sciatica: Chronic pain along the sciatic nerve, which can be caused by herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or piriformis syndrome.
Chronic Pelvic Pain: Often due to conditions like endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. PT can include pelvic floor therapy.
Chronic Headaches and Migraines: PT can address musculoskeletal causes of chronic headaches, such as tension-type headaches or cervicogenic headaches.
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS): A chronic pain condition typically affecting a limb, often after an injury or surgery, with symptoms including pain, swelling, and changes in skin color or temperature.
Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders: Chronic pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint, leading to difficulty with jaw movement and persistent pain. Chronic Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs): Conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome or tennis elbow that result from repetitive motions or overuse.
